Welcome alumni of SGHS 72. We need your help in paying the Fiddler. This Fiddler needs to be paid in several different ways. Through cash donations, donated goods or paid advertisements and sweat equity. This reunion has gotten off to a fantastic start and with just a little help from everybody; it will truly be a sight to behold. This is a first in a series of informational updates intended to reach those who can help with their talents, time and /or money. Don’t let that dirty word money scare you off. Only those who can truly afford a little gift are asked to help. Yes times are tuff and many of our classmates know this first hand. Sweat equity is also a critical need for those who will commit some time. The topics covered in this first report are meant to bring the entire scope of this event to your attention. Sharing the workload and raising the operational funds is vital to the success of this event:
A select few individuals have covered our initial costs. It would not be fair to keep going to them. I know that we have many other “GO TO” people in our class. I challenge each of you to see what type of commitment you can make for this event; cash, sweat equity, gift donations, business advertisement, anything. “Just need a little help from our friends”. An account is being set up for our class at Gary Tipton’s bank, Inwood National Bank (free advertisement for Gary). An announcement will be coming soon on where to send the money. Online donation transactions may be available. We are also coming up with another installment deadline for the website. Please choose a committee you can help with and Email Jolly Roger - Gary DuBose, or anyone you know on the General Reunion committee. This web site will be the main way we will communicate. There will not be any additional mass mailings for registration. Speaking of registration; we must get as many people as possible to pre-register/prepay. Please enlist other classmates that my not access this site and encourage them to do so if possible. Thanks again for your help and participation.
